The legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand will soon play host to another action-packed fight card featuring the planet’s most exciting martial artists competing across a variety of combat sports disciplines.

Set to air live in U.S. primetime on Friday, March 7, ONE Fight Night 29: Rodrigues vs. McManamon on Prime Video is designed to produce thrills from the opening bout all the way up to the high-stakes headlining attraction.

With world-class Muay Thai, MMA, and submission grappling on offer in Bangkok, fans won’t want to miss a moment of the action.

These are five reasons to tune in to ONE Fight Night 29.

#1 A Massive World Title Main Event

The main event will see reigning ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues put her gold on the line against top Irish talent Marie McManamon.

Renowned for her well-rounded striking, elite fight IQ, and seemingly endless gas tank, Rodrigues has looked nothing short of dominant at atomweight, scoring impressive victories over the likes of Stamp Fairtex and Janet “JT” Todd to solidify herself as a global superstar and pound-for-pound competitor.

The Brazilian is undoubtedly motivated to extend her reign of dominance in the division, but promotional newcomer McManamon has the skills to spring the upset.

Long regarded as the UK’s top female Muay Thai athlete, the 34-year-old trains alongside bantamweight kickboxing king Jonathan “The General” Haggerty, and after terrorizing the regional circuit with her explosive kicks and vicious clinch game, McManamon looks poised to pick up a life-changing victory in the world’s largest martial arts organization.

#2 Phenoms Make Their ONE Debuts

The card will also see the hotly anticipated ONE debuts of decorated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Diogo “Baby Shark” Reis and undefeated American MMA phenom Joshua “Flyin Hawaiian” Perreira.

As a two-time ADCC World Champion, Reis has largely conquered the world of grappling outside of ONE, but he’ll now pursue greatness on the global stage when he takes on Japan’s Shoya Ishiguro in an intriguing flyweight submission grappling contest.

Fans can expect incredible technical precision and an explosive submission attack when “Baby Shark” enters the ONE ring for the first time.

Perreira, meanwhile, has all the makings of America’s next MMA superstar. The undefeated 27-year-old will square off with all-action Chinese standout “The Prince” Banma Duoji in a flyweight MMA bout that has fireworks written all over it.

With his pristine 5-0 professional record, 100 percent finishing rate, and elite skills in all areas of combat, fans are in for a treat when “Flyin Hawaiian” makes his promotional debut.

#3 Gheirati Makes U.S. Primetime Debut

ONE Friday Fights star Parham Gheirati will look to make a statement in his U.S. primetime debut.

The Iranian star has blazed a trail through ONE Friday Fights since making his first promotional appearance in November 2023, defeating all six of his opponents and finishing four of them to earn a coveted six-figure contract and a spot on ONE’s global roster.

The 21-year-old knockout artist will face a stiff test in U.S. primetime, as he’s set to take on fellow young prodigy Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon in a bantamweight Muay Thai clash.

#4 Top-5 Bantamweight MMA Contenders Collide

In bantamweight MMA action, #5-ranked contender Jeremy “The Juggernaut” Pacatiw will square off with #4-ranked “The Tormentor” Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu in a high-stakes fight that carries serious implications for the division’s World Title picture.

While he’s known for his dynamic, wushu sanda-based striking game, it’s been Pacatiw’s ever-evolving grappling that has earned him two consecutive submission victories over top-flight competition and a spot in the division’s top five.

The Filipino knows that three straight wins would put him knocking on the door of a crack at gold, but Mongolia’s Baatarkhuu has quietly cemented himself as perhaps the division’s most dangerous contender, winning five of six in ONE with his gritty, relentless approach to combat and savage submission skills.

Notably, “The Tormentor” owns four dominant victories over Filipino fighters, giving Pacatiw an extra bit of motivation to earn redemption for his countrymen.

#5 Zakirov, Erdogan Look To Remain Unbeaten

Uzbek MMA prodigy Sanzhar “Tornado” Zakirov seems to be well on his way to superstardom, and at ONE Fight Night 29, he’ll look to move to 14-0 as a professional when he squares off with Indonesian berserker Eko Roni Saputra in a 139-pound catchweight contest.

Armed with shocking knockout power and a solid ground game, the 21-year-old Zakirov has delivered white-knuckle action through four fights and four thrilling victories in ONE.

Those performances cemented him as one of the sport’s most exciting young talents and a man many have pegged as a future ONE World Champion, but Saputra is undoubtedly motivated to put an end to his foe’s hype train.

The Indonesian made a name for himself on the global stage with seven straight stoppage victories in ONE only to drop his last two bouts. Now, with his back against the wall, fans can expect a barnburner for as long as his clash with Zakirov lasts.

Unbeaten Turkish mauler Shamil Erdogan has made his mark in ONE with back-to-back knockout wins over former two-division king “The Burmese Python” Aung La N Sang, and the 34-year-old is ready to make a quick turnaround.

After finishing the Myanmar icon at ONE 171: Qatar less than two weeks ago, Erdogan is back to face returning Brazilian veteran Gilberto “Giba” Galvao in a light heavyweight MMA contest.

Galvao himself has faced some of the biggest names in ONE and should give Erdogan a tough test on March 7, while the Turkish star looks to keep his perfect record intact.
